Well it went something like this.

Went to the gun shop. Sat in my truck for 15 minutes getting pissed at myself because I still hadn't made up my mind. Left the store parking lot and got a burger and coke. Sat in that parking lot for 20 minutes. Drove back to the gun store, sat in the truck for a few minutes then said to myself ok I'm gonna go buy it now.

Walked into the store and even though I said buy it now, I still didn't know which one I wanted:mad: LOL. Looked at all the goodies in their store till people started to look at me like, I wonder why the hell that dude has been staring at Butler Creek scope caps for the last 10 minutes.

Then I said (to myself of course) ok screw it, just pick one already. So I asked how much they wanted for the Raging Bull. 44. So I bought that one.

As I was driivng to the other store to stock up on ammo, of course I had the "damn I should of bought the other one or should I have BS?" Also knowing damn well if I bought the other one, I would be saying the same about that gun. At the place I went to buy my ammo, they had two S&W 500's. They were not at all as big as I was led to believe. The frame and wheel looked bigger but if felt a lot like my Anaconda. While at the store they had boxes and boxes and boxes of .500 mag ammo.

To sum up, I think I may end up with the .500 Mag come christmas time and have 2 hand cannons I don't need. Or if I don't like the Taurus, I will take the hit and sell it and go with the Smith. Or maybe sell my Sig 522 I don't use.

There should be laws against companies offering cool things that one has to pick between because it's cruel and unusual punishment.

Well the lame 10/11 day wait started today. When I pick it up I'm ordering a .38 special Derringer. Also buying about 140 rounds of 500 Mag ammo. I have to have that .500!!!

    No traction bars this year!!

I would get the S&W. I like their quality over Taurus. Get into reloading;)

I already have a couple of 12 gauges. A older Beretta semi auto and a Mossy 500 with pistol grip and vert grip up front. The 500 I sometimes shoot like a handgun, with two hands of course. It's actually really easy to shoot that way because all the weight is in front of the grip. Hard part is trying to keep it level.

Also have another old double barrel 12 gauge but have been told it's too old to shoot but personally I think it would work and not blow up but I don't want to chance wrecking it or my pretty wittle face.

Well I have had the Raging Bull for 3 weeks and I'm taking the .500 home next Friday. Haven't shot the Bull yet, as I'm waiting till I get the .500 1st. No point in making two seperate trips to my shooting spot.

After all the waiting I will get to pick up and shoot my .500 Friday. I still haven't even shot my Taurus yet, so will be fun for sure.

    EDIT:

Here I finally got off my ass and took a pic.

    S&W 500 mag (top)

Taurus 44 mag Raging Bull (middle)

S&W .38 special "polished my me" airweight (bottom)

By the way the guy that said just buy both the 500 and the 44, you owe me about $800 or $1,250!!! LOL
