debadging question

    So picture number 2 shows what used to be on my truck. Picture number 1 shows the crap that won't come off now that I "fishlined" the letters off. I've tried paint thinner, goo gone and acetone. I was thinking it might buff out. Anybody got any suggestions?

    dude the same thing happened to Cmacks 1999 Taco...that shit was just embedded into the paint and we never could get it off....we tried everything, even took it by a local detailing shop and had them give it wack...NOTHING! Just put the badges back on using that industrial 3M double sided tape :eek:

    I would try rubbing compound. I think you are going to have shadows as they have been on so long.

    Remote start, tailgate inserts, nifty key fob case, Husky X-Act floor liners, AVS vent shades, bed mat, MX4 Tonneau cover, Tyger step rails
    You could get some sockmonkey decals to put over it. Or buff it and repaint that section with touch up paint.

    undercover tonneau ,bug deflector, removal of all tacoma emblems added a set of component speakers behind the rear seat egr in channel window visors
    i use a bug and tar remover for anything stubborn....it seems to work pretty good.

    Rubbing compound definately worked! Thanks for the advice, my truck looks much better.
