I switched from the factory 265\70\r16 to 265/75/r16 now the dealer is telling me this will void my power train warranty. Just wondering if anyone else has had this problem.
    Thanks

LC header, prerunner/4x4 front end, hellwig rear sway bar/beefed brackets, instrument cluster w/tachometer, 60/40 bench seat, solid sideview mirrors, slider rear window, rearview mirror w/map lights, 27x8.50r14 tires
Hmmm, my sister has an 02 4x4 with the trd offroad package and she bought it with 265/75/16 tires. They are falken tires so they are not the original tires, but don't the 01-04 4x4 trd tacomas come with 265/75/16 tires?

Per the Magnuson-Moss act, unless the dealer proves that your tires are the cause of a failure in your powertrain, your warranty can not be voided by law. If i were you, I would simply consider using a dealer that wont mess with you like this. That is if it is convenient for you. JMO

There are also a few threads on the site that speak of the Magnuson-Moss act, and warrenty issues. Use the search feature and I'm sure you'll come up with some good information.
