Yeah, well you know there are conclusions you should and should not draw from those pics and that info from Camburg.

First, you can't tell me those guys were not wheeling the piss outa those rigs when those breakages happened. The OP wants to drive on the street.

Second, and has been discussed on TW, those failures look like the shock bottomed out as would happen with a top plate only spacer lift.

Revtek uses a small top plate, as do many TW members, and a preload spacer.

Really, the only diff between the revtek front lift, and the 5100 plus 1/2" top plate lift is shock valving.

The flip side of that is: for basically the same price as revtek, you can get a shock valved and set up to be used at that ride height.

Dude look around on craigslist for a slightly used coil over kit. I see a couple listed here and there. A OME setup with shipping will be less then $1000 from toytec. 285's with rims from 4wheelparts.com will run you about $1600 for something nice and shipping is free to there store in Waipahu. Thats under budget by $400 and a extremely reliable and street proven setup.

Shucks, yeah! I miss Hawaii and wish I were there to pick up this CL deal. Good excuse for me to move back. Except on Oahu theres no legal place to OR unless youre going up Peacock Flats, right I believe.
