I'm curious to what size tires you are currently running. Humanoid has a good point about the rolling resistance too. It will no doubt adversely effect fuel mileage. It's a shame the good stuff always comes at a price

im all stock right now, i think they are 31x10.5... i could be wrong. but i have not changed the wheels/tires yet. soon hopefully

ok so its apparent i should just save up for a swap.. im gna start lookin around to see whats out there.
where is a good place to look? like craigslist for totaled tacomas? i assume i would be looking for the 3.4 v6.. whats the engine code for that?
i have a 2002 so would a 3.4 just take my 2.7s place? would i need new airbox and all that? or is it a pretty straight forward bolt down?

im thinking ofgetting new tires soon, i think i could run 285/75R16 and not worry too much about power loss. they are:
    Stock New Difference
    Diameter inches (mm) 31.65 (803.9) 32.83 (833.9) 1.18 (30) 3.7%
    Width inches (mm) 10.43 (265) 11.22 (285) 0.79 (20) 7.6%
    Circumference inches (mm) 99.43 (2525.53) 103.14 (2619.77) 3.71 (94.24) 3.7%
    Sidewall Height inches (mm) 7.82 (198.75) 8.42 (213.75) 0.6 (15) 7.7%
    Revolutions per mile (km) 637.23 (395.72) 614.31 (381.48) -22.92 (-14.24) -3.6%

a 2.7 could push those right? given that soon it would be a matter of time that i want to swap out a v6 or get a supercharger.
