My favorite bar closed today

Sad day...

While out to lunch today I saw a post on Facebook on the page of the bar as well as the owner's page that they are closing as of today. I'm very sad now . I have been going there every weekend for the last 3 years. Always on Sunday's for Trivia and usually Friday nights too, even sometimes saturday nights for a beer before going home. It was one of few non-chain restaurants/bars around here. The staff were great and the owners were super awesome. The owner usually sat with us on Friday nights. It's sad it was so unexpected. I wish they would have at least given notice they were closing so we could have one last night. They have been open for about 6-7 years now. Me and my buddies have dated some of the waitresses there too over the years.

Now the search begins for a new weekend home.

Sad. It's tough to find a good 'neighborhood' bar in Georgia.
