Guys I'm picking up my wife's car from the body shop tomorrow. It's a grey TsX and had body damage on the passenger side from a lane change gone wrong. Wasn't that serious but basically bump the whole side of the car against the other.

They basically had to remove multiple dents and repaint the whole passenger side of the car. Does anyone have tips on what to look for? Is there an easy way to tell if the paint matches perfectly ?

I hear there are tools like scanners that can tell the difference. What are they called? Is it common for body shops to have something like this? Is it something I could rent?

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Thanks!

i wouldn't worry about a scanner, just get it out in the sunlight and look at it under the sun. That will show you any imperfections pretty quickly.
