I remember the moon landing. I was 5. I remember having lunch with my dad when Challenger blew up as well. We were out on the farm listening to Paul Harvey when either he told about it, or the network broke in, but it was quite a shock. Even worse were the reports later that the crew might have still been alive when they started falling back...geez.
