    No, I never really thought about it before but all those people packed in vehicals on the road would fear to get out of their wheels and the water just kept rising, sinking a lot of them..

    I was trying to think of what I would do if I was with my gf and her 2 year old.

    Probably try to stay calm, unbuckle and get child close. try to ride it out inside the vehicle until the opportunity to get to a concrete building presented itself. It would be pretty heart pounding to rescue anyone besides yourself in that water.
