nice. right by the new scottsdale gun club. so is there somewhere near us that i could test out the 4x4? nothing too crazy, the only experience i have is my rally car on a dirt road.

67th and Olive for me, once I'm back in town ill post up some west side meet ups. I'm sure you'll get plenty of suggestions on how to break in that 4x4.

Get what you will need. If you don't offroad in heavy terrain or mud then go for the 2wd. I'm on my 3rd Prerunner 2wd. Had a 2003 Tacoma DC Prerunner, 2005 Tacoma Prerunner DC, & now a 2011 Tacoma Sport DC Prerunner. I have no use for a 4x4. There aren't many trails in GA, unless you go to the mountains. Or an offroad park.

I got an 09 Off-Road DC PreRunner, I absolutely love my taco this is my second one. But iIf I could do it again I would go with the 4x4. Better to be prepared I say. Oh and I'm out on 144th ave and McDowell.

didn't realize they switched me to the trd sport instead of the offroad when i asked them to switch to the 4x4. i feel like an idiot but i think the lsd will be more useful than a locker anyway. ditched the street tires and took it off road with 350 miles on it. i've never been offroading before but this was the most fun i've ever had in a vehicle, regardless of the 430 hp sti i left in the garage!

very happy i went with the 4x4. not so happy with the stiff suspension on the sport version but that can be changed.

my tire guy showed me a trail on bumblebee. it was a lot bumpier than it looks in this pic, this is just where we stepped out for a break.

get the 4x4. you may think you wont use it, until you go out with some friends and they have some 4x4's and your having to pull out your winch all the time. i agree with alot of the guys on here(and girls too, tidal wave) and just get the base model of 4 wheel. you dont need those shocks. alot of people on here can get you the matching flares or items that you need to mod it. im EXTREMELY happy that i got mine. :)
