Color matched head lights.

Actually did one in red and black. Looked great but even with hid it was not enought reflection.

 

I have an grill already color matched. I took the center and both of the smaller sides out out of the grill, put in bullet mesh, stripped the chrome, and refinished it to match. I can change the entire look of the truck in a matter of an hour. Everything from the hood, bumper, headlights, and can even change the right fender so there is an antenna. I am currently @ the hunting club planting plots for this season. I will either post pictures of the grill, or of the front end with it installed.

 

looks good, but i personally wouldnt do it myself. i like contrast on my truck so id probably go with the black lights

 

that look nice on red and + 1 on the color matched grill., i had it color match to, at first i had BHLM and them i did the color match and look better, here some pic, i did not take all the pic viet2100 did

 

I color matched mine in SWB as well. Yours look great too. Color matching the grill would take the whole look to the next level.

Looks good, as said before, color matched grill would be sick, kind of like what is on the camry.

Sorry its dirty but you get the idea.

 

I think some of the negative comments are rooted in the fact there is still a large shiny reflector dominating the view, making the headlight look too busy. If you went ahead and did a projector retrofit, then the reflector area can be painted too, and it would look better.

 

I was thinking about color matching my grill but not aymore. I just think its to much red up front. But to each their own. I just found me on old toyota emblem, its getting color matched and thrown in the grill!

This is the "How Too" thread for the Black Head Light Mod (BHLM). The only thing that is different is you use color matched paint in lieu of black paint. I did not use any clear coat over mine since they are protected by the head light lens.
