    Greetings all.

I just purchased my Taco last Thursday and as much as I miss my old Ford Ranger, I just love my new baby to death. I have some mods already in the works for her and will let you all know how they work out. I am looking forward to learning a lot on this site and sharing some things too.

OldRanger: My Ranger was an 03 with 183,722 Miles on the clock... that builds a bond.

    Pope and Niner, Thank you.

Right now my mods are pretty basic. I am planning, as in sometime next week planning, a 3" stage 2 lift, 18" Wheels, 33" Tires, and some tubular running boards. Real performance upgrades will have to wait until the bank account recovers a bit. I am planning on looking at mods to upgrade fuel efficiency first, then some other things.

Yeah. Bought the Ranger in 2004. Good Truck but they had to redo the whole top end of the motor at 55K. Said that Ford used cheap valve seats in that 3.0 engine. In looking at a lot of the bulliten boards on it, I agree. Got it fixed and traded it in on My New TACO. I love this truck. Not a 6 like my Ranger but has all the power I need. Don't tow anything. will only be doing a few mods to help gas milage.
