As much time as I spent on the rafter angle I wish I would have cheated, but she is going to be solid as hell, and a good shed for years to come. Roof and siding will be done by next weekend, and I got a different twist on the window on the right side. I got a piece of 18 x 24 acrylic from Depot for $4, I am going to build a small box screw it to the outside and trim it in 1x's. I am going to put some acrylic silicone around it and wamo, a window. All I need is some light as I am going to leave the eve's open for air.

Actually since you put in some ceiling joists I would have just run the rafters uncut and nailed them off to the ceiling joists. The rafter is stronger without material being removed. Of course we're talking about a shed in Tornado Alley. Hopefully it doesn't fly away after you get it finished.

Well project is wrapping up. I got all the shingles, siding, and door done. Need to get a couple more shelves, and a door latch.

Those shelves look perfectly sized to hold your porn collection. Where does the Kegerator go?

I have a doubled up 2 x 4 header over the door, and doubled 2 x 4's on either side of the door. She is stout as hell. And no the piers are not concreted in, they are sitting on the ground the front two are pretty buried, and the back four are on half blocks that are buried in the ground a few inches. It is on a slope with about a 12" drop between the front and back. I still need to landscape around the house with some rock and what not, and also paint it.

You don't actually need a header , the ridge board in this case carries no weight .
