    08 Base Model (5 speed)
    Hello Tacoma World ....
    Just picked up my new 08 Base Model, w/5 speed manual.
    Traded in my my gas guzzling F-150 on it.........
    So far so good!

    Only worry/complaint.......
    I changed the oil at 1,000 miles... (on my 2.7L, 2wd)
    put in 6 quarts (per owners manual) and new filter (Purolator L10241)
    Dipstick shows about 4" above full !!!!
    Have read other people complaining about this (too)
    So hope the 6.1 U.S. Quarts is the right number!!!!!!!!!
