So I landed a bartending job at the local Country Club I work at (cook), and am starting training next week. Any tips for someone new to the business? Experience/unusual stories and hints encouraged.

Tip: Wrap your junk before screwing those rich socialite bitches. Those country club types sure do get around.

Seriously, great opportunity to network. Good luck with the new job!

always have a good attitude, never ever keep a customer waiting too long...even when your busy> a " i will be right with you " goes a long way to a customer trying to get drink at the bar especially when your keeping the bar maids orders going. you will be working for tips so that is key, i cannot stress being friendly enough.. BTW good luck and congrats.
