    Bushmaster has recalled the ACR due to problems with the firing pin allowing some inadvertent auto fire.

    Here's my ACR. Bought it post recall. I love it, but it was pricey. I've put about 1200 rounds through it and haven't had any issues yet.

    Another note on the ACR. My god it is extremely easy to clean. After putting over 1000 rounds though it in one day, it took me maybe 10 minutes to clean it. There's very little to no carbon residue in the bolt carrier, upper receiver or barrel. Just some tiny brass shavings. For what took hours of cleaning with my M-16 in the Marines, it only took minutes in comparison for the ACR.

    A good ol' M4 puts rounds on target just as effectively as any rifle out there. If you want a gas piston LWRC is top notch, if not then noveske.
