Quick question here. If my clutch pedal is starting to stick just before it fully lets out, is this likely the slave?

Started yesterday, occassionally, especially if the pedal has been in for a while at a stop, the pedal only wants to come half out and I have to put my toes behind the pedal to pull it out. It seems when this happens that the clutch also engages closer to the floor.

I'll be throwing a new one in (have done for my 89 4runner and my 98' taco) just want to run it by you folks to see if anything else could be causing this.

    Thanks,

I had to get mine changed on my honda del sol manual & did exact same thing. Toe under the clutch pedal to bring it back up especially when hot. Cold it wouldn't do it only after I drove it.
It wasn't my mat catching unfortunately.
Here is a bump for more replies & hope you get it figured out. :)
