Just bought a 2008 Taco from a dealership - the OEM iPOD interface module is installed, but the cable that goes between the module and the iPOD is missing.

The dealer says they cant source it anymore. From what I've read online, USA SPEC is the OEM manufacturer.....any idea if/where I can buy the cable only?

USASpec has cables available for other models of similar modules, but cant see any for this one specifically. Any idea if the cable from the CBP85 PA11 or PA12 will work? I can buy them on ebay easy enough.....perhaps another one will work?

    Thanks in advance!

I read another place (sorry can't remember where), that the OEM box is made by Alpine.

In any case put this into Google: PT545-00082-CK

AH Ha - I just looked closer at the module and the OEM label was actually stuck over top of another.....yep - USA Spec PA12. Phew. Crutchfield has the cable for $20. Score.

Pic attached if anyone is interested.

All's well that end's well; however, that is not the same box I got from the dealer. So unless it (the box) varied over the years, that was an add-on not using "Toyota" parts.

The part number I referenced is for the cable from interface box to iPod/iPhone only (still need box and cable from box to radio). I would assume the $320 is for the interface box with cables and install.

The part number above, but without the CK add-on (PT545-00082) is for the complete package. I see it listed online as working for lots of Lexus and Toyota models, but I can't speak from personal experience on anything other than the non-JBL single CD player in my 2011 model.
