POWER help!!!!

I have a 09 tacoma, 4 cyl manual 5 speed. I was just wondering if anybody had any ideas of how to squeeze some more power out of that engine? Any suggestions???

 

We have the same drivetrains. My last truck had the 22RE engine making a massive 116 HP so I feel like this one flys. It's a good dependable engine that will do anything reasonable you need it to do. By the time you spend enough to make "real" power gains you would have been better off just buying the 6 cylinder.

 

MAYBE a new filter(air) and cat back system,91+octane gas and some amsoil in the pan unless you wanna upgrade to a v6.

 

drop the secondary air filter and replace the stock drop in with an afe pro drys...................then maybe a better flowing exhaust/headers.
