02 off road

Hey folks, just wanted to say hello and say I'm glad I found the site. I'm a HUGE fan of the 1st gen tacoma, I have a 2002 ext cab, TRD off road that only has 60,000 on it. I'm looking for a cap for it but am wondering if any pre-2005 cap will fit it. I've found several 97 and 98 caps but am not sure if they will sit even with the bed on my 02 (I currently have a 98 chevy cap on it but it does not sit flush and leaks). Any thoughts or experienced advice would be appreciated.
