After 14 novacaine injections, i didnt feel a thing, just the sounds made me cringe... I asked them to put me under, but Navy dental doesnt do that sort of thing.

all 4 of mine were impacted. It sucked big time. My top right also had a hook on it that they had to make sure they got out plus the roots were up in my sinus cavity.

I don't even remember that much...I remember them gassing me, then a few hours later I woke up in bed at my grandpas house. He lived right down the road from me so he picked me up and took me to the appointment and took me home. I went out with my roomates that night though.

luckily I was asleep for the surgery but the amount of work they did to my mouth, I was in a shit load of pain for a few days afterwards. My jaw got hyper extended too which pulled some of the cartilage where my jaw bone connects. Still to this day, If I have it clenched under stress, when I open it back up, it pops. I have the surgery done 3 years ago

I didn't think it was that bad either. I was in high school when I had all 4 taken out.
I woke up in the chair asking when they were going start, but they were already done. I thought I had only closed my eyes for a moment- those drugs are great!
I spent the afternoon on the couch but was back to the normal routine the next day, with Tylenol for the pain.
