it has 5000km on it. no mods but i will get some supermoto tires for it this summer. the only engine trouble was that it sat for 4 years in a garage with out being started or the gas being drained so both carbs were pretty gummed up. other than that its been a great bike. they're really tough to find they were only brought in for 2 years.

Yeah, and the second year it was a crappy blue/green/kinda pink color. Nothing feels fast like a high strung two-stroke coming on the pipe, no matter what the speedo says, :)

Got myself a 07 Suzuki DR650 earlier this year with 2500km (1500miles) on the odo. So far I got my written exam and a two day motorcycle rider safety course completed at a local college. Now I just need to complete my road test. Anyway cant wait to ride this bike. Will have to take it easy and stick to paved roads this summer since its my first bike and first season but cant wait to get it dirty one day. The plan is to make it my adventure/road trip/off road trip machine at some point...:D

I ride a KTM 690 dual sport, and it is great for 60 / 40 on-off. If I did more than that I would get a 450 - 530 exc. Do you like the contis on your DR650. I tried them on my SM wheels and they were ok, but I only got 2000 mi out of them.

How many are still here from back in 2011 ?

    I have a 2003 DR650 I’M the 2nd rider 1st one had it about 1300 miles crashed it .
Not a hard crash but he bent the handle bar and smashed the Speedo and it had a dent in the gas tank
I got it in :frusty: maybe 2009 or 2010 .
he was going to fix it up but 8 years of sitting his wife told him to sell it . now has 5 gallon gas tank a nice seat concept seat good
for about 500 miles all my butt can take. Bigger jets and a muffler.

I used to have one of those! Actually I bought it for my wife to ride. She didn't really like it so we ended up selling it but I'd like to get her another bike at some point, something newer though.

Here is my main bike, I just recently got it and have mostly used it for commuting but hope to do some more offroad next summer. 2008 KTM 690 Enduro.
