Is it really that much louder? I could see with the open one but not with the closed box? Was it noticeable at lower speeds or just when you mashed on it? GLWS!

It sounded great at lower RPM, the two higher gears were a bit louder than I wanted. I'm getting to old, I guess.....

    WolfPack,

It may or may not be carb legal, I am not saying either way because I do not know.

I was just stating that the user manual said that it came with a carb sticker and it actually did not.

How is this one compared to the normal stage 2 pro dry. The one with just the best shield. I had an airaid on my 06 Taco and noticed the throttle response. Thats all Im looking for. My truck now is stock. Have been looking into the two afe's but not sure which one.

Would I need to worry about the carb legality here In az? Which one would have more throttle response? the Cai or the one with just the heat sheildk since there is less restrictions? I'm interested OP. Just tryin to get some Info first. Whippersnapper, Im sure you have some input. I think you commented on another thread like this before.
