I have had it checked 3 times as I moved it up in two steps and back down. The shop is well respected and says the numbers are good and it drives good. Maybe it is how they are presenting the numbers. I will ask them. If caster was off that much I would expect it to drive like crap

Your truck looks awesome. Looks like we have almost the same setup, and I know I love mine.

Great job! Any more plans for it?

    Awesome!
I've been on the fence about lifting my 02 dbl cab, your pics have inspired me! I might go with the OME 3" kit from Toytec. Hopefully it comes out similar to yours.

I went back and had them do an alignment again. I stood there the whole time and encouraged the alignment tech to get the caster numbers up.I told him that the camber could be sacrificed a little to get the caster higher. My goal was to get Caster around 1.5

I ended up with these numbers
    Camber -0.2 0.0
    Caster 1.2 1.6
    Toe 0.07 0.05

No where near > 2.0 on the caster but I can live with these numbers.
It was very interesting working with the tech and seeing that caster and camber are inter related. Toe is no problem. The machine was new and cost $35,000 with the lifts. That was the forth alignment after I lifted the truck. 1) to align after I lifted first time. 2) to align after I lifted it to a full 3 in. 3) Lowered it 3/4 in to keep CV angles more reasonable. 4) to get the caster higher. I would Advise staying just below 3 in to keep the CV angles down.

I drove the truck today > 80 miles and the caster helped. Not a big change in driveability but noticeable. Caster being off is really no big deal. I can't see why 600 for a UCA would be needed for just caster.

I am very curious about the overall performance/horsepower feel/change since the addition of the bigger tires. Have your shift points changed? I am assuming you have not re-geared yet. Has the way the truck responds in traffic changed? Finally, have you lost a significant amount of MPG?

I just installed a coilover lift, mine are SAWs. I am at about +2.5 in the front. I am sure that I can fit 285s but worried about the compromises in performance.

    Thanks for the feedback.

I did not notice a drop in performance, no change in shift point. I don't drive this truck hard, but it accelerates sharply for what it is. This truck is the V6 version and the tires were not a noticable impact, for me.

I don't plan to re gear, I am 4.10 now and that is good for me.

The compromise is in clearance, I have one spot that rubs the frame lightly when I trurn against the lock going left. And the stock jack doesnt work good, had to get a Hi lift type of jack. On the plus side I like the lokk of having the Hi lift mounted in the back.

I bought the brake line extension but never used it and the carrier bearing is not moved. I did buy and use the differential drop kit. I have no vibration issues

Those #s are much better than the first set. And typical when lifted without UCAs.

It drives better with the caster numbers up a little, the after market UCAs would make it drive even better but ... its not worth it to me.
