What are y'alls thoughts on these 2 Indash Navigation head units? I am interested in replacing my crappy radio with something with good sound and user friendliness.

Are y'alls units the Kenwood DNX9980HD or something else? I was leaning towards the Kenwood because of the Garmin and some of the other features like the Pandora plugin and HD radio, but didn't know if the $1500.00 price tag was worth it. I know I can get the DNX8120 or even the DNX9960 for a lot less.

I've got a Z3 in my Tacoma and the Nav is horrible!! The sound quality is great but the Pioneer Nav is among the worst in car audio.

I have been eyeing the 9980 but there are a ton of complaints on the Kenwood Forum that keep me from pulling the trigger. A lot of these complaints come from the Kenwood faithful also.

Check out real feedback on the 9980 here,
