Wheel & Tires question.

I want to purchasing this wheel, but have no idea what is the offset mean? Any help?
Also want to use the existing tires that come from the dealer, will it fit? Or should I buy a new set of tires? If do what brand name you will suggest? Please help me out here. thanks

 

I find the right one, with 6x5.5", but the offset is -12, is it the wheel will stick out

 

The -12mm 17x9 with 6x5.5 bolt pattern is the one you want. Depending on the tire you choose. It will stick out 1-2". Your stock factory dunlops might be too skinny for a 9" wide wheel.

Those will work. You might have to buy new tires though.

 

i put the dunlops back on my new wheels and it made the sidewalls appear rounder in that makes any sense. they are a 16x8 inch wheel. -6 offset. the tires stick out an inch or two out of the wheel wells....hope that helps you
