I wouldn't just leave this dealer. You have them on the hook for deceiving you. I'd get them to find me another truck. They'll be glad to, at least, do that for you rather than have an upset customer.

Be cordial and insist on all of the discounts and incentives that they can muster.

A certified 4x4 TRD OR with less miles for the same price with whatever else they can toss in would interest me very much. The prices of new and used trucks are so close right now that they may even be able to put you into a new one for the same monthly payments with lower interest and an extended warranty.

I understand I would normally be contractually obligated to the truck, but that went out the window the second the salesman was dishonest with me. I'm going to go up there today and see if I can somehow get into a brand new Tacoma. I'll keep you guys posted.

funny you mention that. i bought a "certified pre owned" tacoma there last month. it supposedly goes through some intensive inspection to become certified. my first time driving at night i noticed the fog lights didn't work. i checked, turn out the bulbs (only the bulbs) were missing. how they missed that during their inspection is beyond me. i didnt have any issues with getting bulbs from them but im pretty sure they didn't much of an inspection.
