Hey all looking for a little small advice. I have read all the reviews but still undecided. lol I have a 2008 TRD Crew Cab with no lift c/w the 17" rims. I am looking for an agressive looking/working all terrain tire that well work as good on dry pavement as on dirt, crush stone and SNOW!! lol I currently live in Winnipeg, MB and the streets are covered with snow and Ice close to 6 months of the year. I do a small amount of offroading but not as much as what the truck was really designed to handle...lol. I don't mind only getting 40 K's out of a set of tires as long as they perform well and do not rub. 265/70R/17 is the size I would be looking for..........Love the look of the Duratracs but think they do rub......Nitto's have great reviews but are softer and don't last too long abd then there are everyones old FAV.....BF Goodrich!! lol Any comments would be greatly Appreciated.....Cheers and keep on truckin!!! ;)

I just got the Nitto terra Grapplers and while they look pretty cool and seem like they will probably perform well, they are way too loud on the highway. I don't know why everyone else seems to say they are "quiet", because the hum is driving me crazy, it's like driving next to a semi all the time. Just last week I got the opportunity to drive a Ford F-150 which had new BF Goodrich Rugged Trails and they were great! Nice and quiet on the highway and performed well off road. If I had to do it all again I would definitely not get the Nittos and go with BF Goodrich, specifically if you are concerned about highway noise...

Yeah Go Bombers is right.....lol.....and I think the hat thing is a good idea casue all three are decent A/T tires......road noise is just a part of having those types of tires!!
