I just got off the phone with one of my snow removal customers, a couple in their late 70's. In October 08, their son, who is my age, 48, was diagnosed with terminal cancer. Up into that point he had been an average healthy guy, an avid outdoorman and just noticed a backache that had become troublesome.

Though I did not know him that well, he was a cool guy, had a 2006 Toyota Reg Cab 4x4 in silver metallic. He had moved back in with them for his treatment so whenever I went over to snowblow the driveway, I'd make sure to clean his truck off whether or not he was going to use it just because.

Well, he passed away this morning, 3 months after finding out. I feel so bad for this couple, especially the father, who's health is fragile too. Anyway, I didn't know who to share this with, it bothers me & proves life is fragile and too damn short.
