Please sign this petition regarding a hearing for HR 2306

I've never seen a single study that proves that Marijuana is physically addictive.

I've seen people state that its mentally addictive. Sure.

 

For me, it comes down to a question of liberty, freedom and personal choice. I think it should be taxed, regulated and legal. Sure, there might be a black market. There's a black market for anything out there but the mainstream joe doens't want to deal with the shady side of society so he'll probably just buy his smoke from a dispensary/drugstore/whatever they have set up for it.

For the opponents out there take the emotion out of it and just repeat after me: "at first, they came for Marijuana - and I did not smoke so I said nothing. Then they came for liquor -but I did not drink so i said nothing. Then they came for my guns and nobody was there to support me"

Alcohol, cigarettes and fast food kill millions each year. They also have 3 incredibly massive lobbies in washington. I have smoked before and partake once or twice a year in private settings where I dont have to be anywhere but I'd probably enjoy it more if I didn't have to go to prison for 10 years for relaxing.

 

Really? withdrawal symptoms.

 

Hopefully Colorado will get this done! If they get this passed and the other states see how profitable this can be, it will spread like the lottery!
