I have a battery in the bed of my truck do I need to ground it to chassis?

im basically trying to copy the box bellow, only difference the box kit has a wire kit that runs all the way to the battery....I plan to use a 120v battery tender to charge my battery box...

do I need to ground my battery?

Doesn't hurt to be safe. Even though the body's grounded by the tires.... Dont thin kit would make a differnce
