I recently changed the engine in my 1999 Tacoma. I replaced the 99' 2.7L with a 98' 2.7L. The 98' model came with a distributor but my 99' had coil's. What I did what just replace the engine, sweet, simple, swap....I thought.....well my problem is only when cranking the engine. It takes 2-3 minutes of turning on the engine to actually crank it. Once running it runs like a dream. Things I troubleshoot....Changed fuel pump, checked spark, changed fuel filter, verified vacuum lines,
I am stumped any help would be greatly appreciated.
