JL Audio C2-650 Components + Adapters

    I am selling a set of JL Audio C2-650 Component speakers with ********* mounting adapters for 2nd gen Tacomas. These were only in my truck for about 4 Months before I went a different direction with my system.

    The woofers are sealed into the adapter plates, so they can only really be used in a 2nd Gen Tacoma.

    The woofers are capable of suprising bass when run in full range. The tweeters deliver crisp, bright highs. Need about 50- 60 Watts to run them, so you would want to run a small amp. These would probably be excellent in conjunction with one of Alpine's in-line KTP-445 Amps.

    Sorry I haven't replied to this forum for a couple of days. Dropped to $150 + shipping

    The units come with passive crossovers and tweeters. I also have all the original grilles and emblems that came in the original packaging. I will include some strip caulking to seal the units to the door frame and some spade lugs for the wiring.

    The woofers are sealed into 1" MDF ********* adapters that are sealed with paint and clearcoat. I found that it is necessary to slightly modify the door panel to fit these adapters in '09+ models. It is no big deal- I cut off one plastic weld with a rotary tool and replaced it with adhesive sealant to allow clearance. See the included link.

    I am presently running Hybrid Audio Legatia series components with an Alpine Imprint audio processor as an active crossover.
