Stuff you read on FB isn't always on the up and up. We're talking about a 14 year old and her friends. I have a 13 year old niece. They bullshit a lot on FB. Don't sweat it too much.

I know, and I let him do his thing to a point. You have to let them make mistakes, otherwise they will never learn.

Whenever my parents advise me NOT to do/buy something, I just tell them, "let me make my young mistakes, so I don't make them when it matters" hahaha. Love my parents :D

Not sweating it a bit. I was just wondering what kind of funny stuff you guys had in mind for turning this into a "learning" experience for her!

...Anyway, my 16 yo cousin writes dumb shit of FB all the time, he falls in 'love' once a week and it makes him look like a dumbass.
It's just how kids are now. They have no filter and thinks everything's ok to say/post.

    neglect, mostly.
I dont really get the "Jesus kids are stupid" orientation with what she said, but whatevs. . . there was a girl I went to high school with that was talking about her older brother being out all night and drinking an what not in the middle of class one time. she kept going on about how she never does anything wrong and how perfect she was and so on and so on. I loudly asked her "so tell me, does that make you better than him?" . . . She had no answer. lol.

The only lesson for her to learn is to make her profile private and remove everyone over 18... Kids are going to do stuff like this, its a normal part of growing up and spying on her and locking her up is just going to shunt her growth and make it hard for her to develop a trusting relationship with people.

my sister does the same dumb shit on facebook and myspace. I tried to tell her it just makes her look stupid but she wouldnt listen. She always puts up pictures of her drinking and such and she is only 19. I have told her time and time again that she needs to take those down. every now and then she listens about that but she still refuses to listen about her statuses and such. anyways, all you can do is just let it run its course and they will eventually have a reality check or grow up at some point
