First... Please do not use duct tape on your taco...That will tear up anything it touches. Painters tape is much safer.

Second... I don't think it is the trim pieces that are making the noise. I actually removed both of mine and it did not affect the sound at all.

Lastly... You are 100% correct, I have an 05 with the issue. My fingers are crossed that the new windshield and new weather stripping the dealer istalled takes care of this problem. They replaced the seal around the windshield as well as the door seals.

    Good Luck!

Mine has the same sound exactly like the Youtube clip. Mine does it on a crosswind on the hwy at 100kph (60mph) give or take. I think it's coming from the upper passenger side as my best guess. Haven't looked at anything yet, but by the sounds so it, no cure yet! Mine is a 2010 Taco Sport Doublecab 4x4...
It doesn't do it all the time just on windy days.

Took the taco out for a nice long ride at different angles to the wind... So far so good, it looks like my dealer was able to make the Kazoo noise go away.:yay:

In May, I just purchased a 2011 Toyota Tacoma double cab, and experienced the same noise on the highway (About 80 mph) as you did in your video. Let me know how you rectified your problem, so I can do the same. Thanks
