Best Wash/Spray detailer

Does it really matter?

06 Silver Access Cab - Daily driver.

I wash a couple times a month. Wax a couple times a year. Maybe three.

I used to like Zaino. The mixing just got old so I switched to Klasse. I've continued to use Zaino wash and spray detailer. I like to think they are relatively compatible with the synthetic Klasse stuff and will help to maintain the wax as long as possible.

Curious if anyone in the know thinks there's a better alternative.

I've been using Turtlewax wax as you dry for a few years now and have been happy with it. Haven't tried any others though.

 

I've seriously considered going to a "wax as you dry" system. Since I can only manage a full-on wax a couple times a year, I wonder if my paint would be better served by applying what is probably a lesser product much more frequently.

 

i use the wax as you dry and i like how it maintains the finish till you wax again. been usin it for yrs and have no complaints

 

i also like the "was as you dry" stuff too. easy to apply

 

I think Optimum's spray wax is a piece of cake to use. You dont let it haze over, just spray and wipe. Provides more protection than a quick detailer, but just as easy.

 

Going to give that a try, I do like the wax as you dry. But definitely don't like to wait til it hazes over.
