no you said reliability go n/a big numbers s/c bigger numbers turbo. this implies you will lose reliability when u go turbo.

with a turbo you also retain stock fuel mileage and experience more performance gains then u would with s/c.

no, i meant big horsepower numbers go with the supercharger, and for bigger gains go with a turbo set up. i didnt mean that turbo setups are unreliable and i understand the difference between the roots, rotrex, and turbo setups. i was simply stating that when mixing boost and nitrous things can go wrong really quick.

Since your running a high boosted 2rz I'm sure you know plenty about tuning, like I have said a few times boost and nitrous is ok, if its tuned the right way. But with boost, especially high boost there is a lot of potential for things to go wrong fast. I did not say they would for sure. Im just saying like anything else, without a good tune stuff can go bad really fast.

A na set up without a proper tune will go bad too. Our previous setup was a 1.8L 3tc motor on 43psi and a 75 on top. We even did a 150 shot too for some time of course properly tuned on a standalone

Exactly, all I was saying was without a tune it can go bad, and when you stack boost and nitrous on something and don't tune it then stuff goes kaboom

    Absolutely! /\

    Seen it first hand....

I wish my truck was aspirated....I still miss the sound of the turbo and the feel of the surge of power, or the 2 step and crap your pants feeling...;)

Soon I will have something happening under the hood besides the swap..
