I've read recently about the questioning the durability of the composite bed (liner) I've beat my up a little bit, but haven't had any problems with it cracking or showing any signs of excessive wear. Toyota states that the material is 5 times more durable than the steel beds, a plus is no rust to worry about;anyone experiencing any problems with the composite material bed(liner).such as cracking. I haven't had any problems with mine. but then I usually don't carry many heavy loads other than a 350lbs.ATV..

I haven't, but, when I step on the tailgate, it gives a cracking sound. I think pushing down on the plastic pops the bolts out a little. Can't really describe it... Hope you get what I mean.

I think what others have had a problem with is the brittleness of the composite.

the only problem i am experiencing is not with the bed itself. I find the inner fender well, the plastic there is creating alot of noise.
