It's not a Cummins, but it gets better mileage... or does it?

Well, I made the switch and I hope I like it. So far my new little 4 cylinder Tacoma is getting about 18.5 mpg... a bit less than my 8000 lb Dodge Diesel... at least gas is cheeper. I got some new tires, because I wasn't a huge fan of the Dunlops it came with. The Firestone Destinations were a good price and I haven't put her in the ditch yet. I would like to get some WeatherTech floor mats, however they don't make one that will fit a manual (boo weathertech). I also got a nice new stain in my seat from a leaky grocery bag which I am pretty excitied about. I will probably pick up some seat covers to prevent this again. I'll keep ya'll posted on how I make out. So far the best part is the headlights... very bright!

some of this, a little of that

Welcome to TW, and I don't understand your dislike on the Dunlops :). Seriously they have to be one the worst tires I have ever used. Good move getting rid of them, I can't wait to get rid of my donlops

Welcome to TW, I'm another x-diesel owner (01 cummins) I wouldn't expect to get any better mileage but gas is definately cheaper and these trucks are a lot easier to park and wheel with.

Try some Host cleaner (just get the yellow powder, it's all you need). Stuff is a miracle worker.

There's alternatives in the detailing section if you want to try something else.
