I missed a big buck up in Ice House 60 yrds downhill just barely shot over him...my field tip shot good groups on target and I knew my broadheads shot a little lower so I purposely aimed for his spine but forgot to consider the downhill...im gonna go sight my bow in with my broadheads and go back this weekend, hope I get another shot at him.

    back to bone stock.
    i'm running a B zone.

found and patterned a few WHOPPERS. but we almost got hit by lightning on a scouting mission. everyday, the lightning pushed us off the mountain, or the deer were in an unapproachable area.

i did come to full draw on a forkie we named "milkie". he was very young (and tender looking), but my mind were on the big 4x4's..so i let him live. i had him at 15 yards..steep downhill. didnt help that my hunting partner was whispering to me.."dont shoot him!"
