I use a 7424 Porter Cable Orbiter and its awesome! Its actually just like the one Griots Garage sells for big $$$ and is recommended by several other detail websites. I got the 6" counterweight & 6" backing pad to match. The whole deal was less than $125 online & makes any detailing project easy.

Very nice, but I wouldn't use this if he's a beginner. Too much risk of burning into the paint.

I have this and it's great. I highly recommend getting this!
