Do 15" wheels look to small on our trucks?

I'm looking at getting some after-market rims with largers tires and a small lift. I'd like to get tires that are roughly 33" tall.

I see ALOT of nice used 15" rims in craigslist for pretty cheap, but I'm wondering if it would look funny on our trucks to run that 15" rim with a 33x12.50? Should I just stick to getting a17" or 18" rim with the equivelant tire size?

well from your avatar thing it seems like you have an 08, the smallest rim you can get is a 16" on the second gens, i would personally go with 17" i think they are not to big nor too small

I went with 17's on mine. Tires come out to be around 33[IMG]

15" rims will only work with the 5-lug second gen tacoma's. 16" is the minimum requirement with the 6 lug, as the brake calipers are too large to fit in a 15 (without some serious modifying which I believe has been done once or twice, not worth it imho).

Ideally, you should go for a 4.5" backspacing as well.
