My truck is split 50/50 between commuting to school and driving through rivers, swamps, fields, mudholes, etc.

I would like to eventually put a 3 inch lift on my truck.

That being said, if I was going to replace all the shocks on my truck, what would be some great replacements?

OME or bilstein are the two most popular, cheapest choices.

Certain systems are made for trucks with armor, plate bumpers and such, so that "heavy" trucks can still get enough lift. Otherwise, the "light" systems don't give enough lift, or "light" trucks with the "heavy" suspension get too much lift and the ride gets too stiff.

The only thing I have been thinking about adding was a front bumper.

they're the same- look at the OME part number (I think)

mainly theyre talking about plate bumpers and winches for the heavy sets.

    From wheelers
"*PLEASE NOTE THE 882 COIL SET IS ONLY RECOMMENDED FOR DOUBLE CAB TACOMA'S OR V6 EXTRA CABS RUNNING A WINCH AND BULLBAR"
