I'm to the point of putting everything back together... So the front knuckles are off, with the seal still in them but pretty much destroyed from getting the knuckles off. I've got the wheel hub/bearings separated from the knuckles as well, so those are set aside.

I'm pretty sure I need to get new seals to put in the new knuckles from procomp. Is this a part that my toyota dealer would have? I'll obviously make the phone call to ask them but I'm trying to get a better understanding of what to ask them for haha

Anyone know the official term for these seals? part number by chance? good site where I could figure out the part number?
For the OP. Make sure you trim enuf of the cross member before you try to put the diff back in
Thanks, yeah that was the nerve-racking part haha. I'm gonna test fit it tonight, I got the drop brackets bolted onto the diff so now fingers crossed that I've chopped up my frame enough!

Ok I'm stuck again... procomp utilizes the stock front strut and shock assembly with an added polyeurethane bushing and plate inbetween the top plate and spring... so it didn't compress the stock spring all that much more, and then it utilizes like a 5" drop bracket above the whole assembly basically... hard to explain, hopefully someone is familiar with this...

my problem is this: with it bolted back up, the lower shock ball at the bottom is not rotated at the correct angle to bolt back onto the LCA. that being said, I've tried putting a "rod" or whatever in there and twisting it, but it doesnt want to rotate...

Thats my first problem, but while working on that, I attempted to put the jack underneith the shock and compress it a little bit to see if that would make turning it easier... THE SHOCK DIDN'T COMPRESS EVEN A MILLIMETER AND IT STARTED TO LIFT THE WHOLE TRUCK UP!!! I don't think thats a good thing... haha any ideas why my shock wouldn't compress? does the top center nut have anything to do with allowing the strut to compress? could I have that on too tight?

I'm open to any and all suggestions at this point...

why do you need it to compress?

Well I'm just concerned that I did something wrong, if I was able to push up on the bottom of the strut with the jack, and instead of compressing the strut and springs, it started to lift up that side of the truck. it shouldn't take that much weight or pressure to compress them should it?

    sure

if not they would just sag down when its on the ground

I would put compressors on it and crank it down to let pressure off of the top plate and spin it

Thank you, I'm 100% happy with how it came out on the 33s. I think a midsize truck like ours looks right on 33s. 35s can be a slight overkill. they look better on a fullsize.

can't wait to see yours when its done!

35's only look good on the double cabs, 33's are the right tire on an access, IMHO!

Do any of you have the links to the best installation instructions? Thinking about giving it a go.
