Interesting discussion. I am new to the forum - just here a month or so. And, I'm in that older crew of +50 year olds. I've found lots of great info so I've enjoyed my time here. I have sensed that some of my posts get overlooked for some reason. I've gone back and deleted some responses as a result since it appeared that there was no interest in what I posted. So, I just pick and choose what and where I post.

My guess is that I'll be more of a lurker here and take advantage of the knowledge and hints available. TW is just more oriented towards a younger crowd. No harm, no foul.

Thanks! I'm active on a bunch of forums so I understand the problem of getting buried by posts. That didn't seem to be the issue on the threads I was talking about here....but maybe it was just me.

I any case, I appreciate your response and mKing me feel welcome! :)

Like wolf said, sometimes your thread just needs a bump or two- weather it be the time of day when people who could answer your qs or comment are not online or they just dont see it, if it needs an answer it needs a bump!

But like I told runner earlier this forum needs "older" members on here to provide the input that only comes with wisdom and experience. Hell, there's all kinds of questions from parenting qs to "What should I do?" q's that I'm sure as sh!t that members my age would not be able to answer. But at the same time you're more than welcome to join in our BS as well! :D

So Tw welcomes you, and I'd like to thank you for your service too, Sir!

I feel the same way sometimes. Out of being here probably about two years now I only have a handful of post compared to most just b/c as I've said before i'm not good at putting thoughts into words and it seems most of the time to go ignored. I usually only try to post something up if I think it will help someone. Not counting the UG post though. :D

However true that may be, watch how you word your posts.

"Go kill yourself" puts you in ban-watch zone.
