help with avx840 install, what do i need?

    Thinking of getting a JVC avx840 HU for my truck. Just wondering what i need to complete the install.
    - the unit
    - a fit kit
    - a wiring harness
    - a sat tuner for sirius
    -???

    I was told that i could not use the factory shark fin antenna, but then was reading that there are adapters that you just plug in. Do these wire adapters really work?

    Is that all i need. I was also told if i install myself i will lose warranty. is that true?
