so i want to lift my truck 3''. im not an off roader but from time to time i go hunting and some of the roads are washed out. these are old gas well roads so there not to bad. i hear strut extentions are a bad idea. can someone tell me why this is or would they be fine for what i do.
    thanks to all who reply.

They are a bad idea because at full droop they overextend your ball joints, causing them to bind.

Strut extensions also make your bump stops useless, you will bottom out the shock before you hit the bump stops.
