Has anyone used these adapters?

Has anyone tried using these scosche speaker adapters?

I came across these searching on the internet today. Wondering if any of you have used these or should i stay away from these.

I've read that they will work on 05-11 double cabs.

I used the ones from *********.com, but those look like the same thing, but plastic as apposed to MDF. You generally can't go wrong with Scosche gear...

 

the ones from ********* are definitly thicker...wondering if u need them thicker to have more mounting depth for aftermarket speakers.

 

Without first hand knowledge and only speaking on internet folk-lore, they are the same ones Crutchfield ships with their speakers as an adapter and they don't fit for shit... They generally require, again according to internet gospel, re-drilling hole because they don't line up.
