Drove to Kansas City this weekend for a bachelor party. Having a little fun in the tunnel on the way home!

That's the kit I have. Great company to deal with and excellent warranty. I'll try and get some pics tomorrow when it's daylight hopefully!

I slowed down so no one was in the tunnel! You can see I was doing 55 and speed limit was 70 so

 

So how about them pictures??
I'm curious where you mounted everything.
I'm still debating depending on where I'm going to mount the tank, etc.

i was wondering about when people install the compressor or tank under the bed, what about corrosion? I live in the north east and we have tons of corrosion problems from salt/snow in the winter and potholes full of skunk water in the summer.

do you have it mounted under the bed?

I love train horns. There are times when they are truly needed to get someones attention.
I installed a similar setup a few weeks ago for a customer. It was a crew cab F250 and I mounted the tank and compressor behind his back seat. If you get a good compressor, they really don't make alot of noise, and they can fill the tank relatively quickly so they are not on long. I believe his filled a 2.5 gal tank in about 30 seconds to 85psi for a quad-horn. Blows loud for about 8 seconds before it really begins to fade. With the radio on (and not loud) I could not hear the compressor.
Not a big fan of mounting a compressor under a truck. Dirt and dirty air will shorten the life of a small compressor, even if it does have a filter.

Oh yes i just love train horns, i got one on my F250 and had one on my previous truck as well, probably not going to put one on my wifes TACO but who knows, where do you have yours set up at, where the spare tire supposed to be? I have a lot of friends that have it where the spare tire supposed to be, only thing shitty about that is NO SPARE TIRE. My F250 has it where the spare tire supposed to be but then again i dont have a spare tire cause i got big tires on it...

 

interesting is worth getting since it is so loud and can use it all the time
