HID lights.....new

    Josh fixed the Kragens with fiberglass and then re-welded the tabs on the light bar to fit all 4!

    I then went to Cody to convert the 100 watt halogen Hellas, to 35 watt HIDs (here 4300ºK)... and they are now 5000ºKs.

    The 35 watt HIDs are much brighter than the 100 watt halogens.

    Yah, I figured... I just wanted him (and others) to know that 35 watts of HID (at 5000ºK) is much brighter and whiter than 100 watts of halogen (which were really bright).

    I would consider 50 watts HID for insane light (if the ballast is the same size as a slim 35 watt so it will fit inside the lamp).

    Yes I'm obviously aware that hid is brighter than halogen

    Right... and at 1/3 the power (35 watts vs. 100 watts) it is brighter. So, how insane would 100 watts of HID be?
